Forging at NEDCC, Gonzalez-Torres Foundation

More Forging presentations: Berkeley’s Rick Rinehart presented “The Persistence of Memory” at the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC), held in Chicago from December 9-10, 2008. Meanwhile Still Water’s Jon Ippolito discussed the variable media approach to the work of Felix Gonzalez-Torres at a meeting of the FGT Foundation in New York from 23-25 January.

U-Me students debate climate change

Today Wassookeagers and their friends were treated to a presentation by the University of Maine Debate Society, whose members conducted a debate on whether the US should sign the Kyoto Accord. After the formal debate, the U-Me students held a free-form discussion about climate change as well as their experience of the debate process itself.
