On April 10th at Harvard’s Sackler Museum, Christiane Paul of The New School and Whitney Museum of American Art presents Forging the Future as part of her presentation “New Media beyond the White Cube: Preserving Digital Art.”
The symposium, entitled Technical Conservation Issues of Time-Based Media,
brings together scientists, conservators, artists, and curators to discuss the conservation issues of time-based media. It will focus on current scientific and technical topics as well as possible directions for future research. Organized by Lynn Lee, Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Conservation Science, Harvard Art Museum/Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies.
